Alex Olsen

Business Manager

I joined Insurance People in 2004 after having worked in one of New Zealand’s leading insurers.
I specialise in claims, which gives me the opportunity to help make a real difference to people – sometimes
during the most difficult times in their lives.

Claims time is when people really see the value of their insurance I am here to make the process as
seamless as possible. Each claim is a memorable moment as we can touch someone’s life and see the
financial relief it makes so they can concentrate on what matters most – looking after themselves and
getting better.

Matt Church

Matt works his magic behind the scenes, managing the IT processes and
systems and making sure everything works seamlessly.

Originally from the UK, Matt holds a computer science degree and has
many years experience working in databases and processes in education,
healthcare and insurance industries.

He enjoys working with the advisers and keeping them up-to-date on the
latest technology. Matt is happily married to Katrina, an adviser and director
at Insurance People.

I joined the insurance industry in 2018, having grown up in a family that has a passion for insurance. I have held various positions with the industry in administrative roles gaining a wide range of knowledge and am now a financial adviser.

I continue to participate in regular professional development with all our major insurers, to ensure that my education is current and relevant, so I can tailor your insurance specifically for you, your family or your business.
